H'Oliver Twist
1997-1998

H'Oliver Twist was formed in late 1997, when Kevin Holevar, who was performing a duo with Keith Saxton, looked up old buddies Dave and Rob Caruso.  Kevin was the last lead guitarist for the band Caruso after Dave left, and he also produced the Caruso album, "I Love You...and Other Stories."  The band's first ever photo is "the band lineup that never was."  Before the first rehearsal was even held, Rob accepted a job offer in Houston, TX.  (That first picture was taken at Rob's moving-away party!)

Kevin immediately secured drummer friend and band mate from Romance, John Buffa.  Covering a blend of modern rock from the 80s and 90s, H'Oliver's "twist" was that all three front men played multiple instruments.
